5K Fun Run & 1 Mile Dog Walk

When: APRIL 22, 2023

• 7:30 AM – Packet pickup and race-day registration
• 8:30 AM – 1mi dog walk
• 9:00 AM – 5k fun run
• 9:30 AM – Finish line celebration begins!
• 10:00 AM – Awards ceremony

Course:

• Course Routes: 5k Route; 1 Mile Route
• 5K: Runners/walkers on the 5k course are allowed ONE dog max per registered runner. Strollers must begin race last. No bikes, scooters, or skates. No dog bandanna is included with 5k registration. Can purchase a bandanna for $10 each.
• 1mi: Strollers welcome. No bikes, scooters, or skates. There is a 2-dog maximum per person, and 1 bandanna is included in the registration fee (can purchase additional bandannas for $10 each). No T-shirt is included in 1mi registration. T-shirt can be purchased for $15.
• Not a runner? Register for the Catnap for Hunger and don’t run. You don’t even have to show up. Your t-shirt will be mailed to you. Support the cause while staying off your paws!

Awards & Goodies:

• Top 3 Male & Female Overall
• Top 3 Male & Female in the following age groups : 18 & under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
• Participants will receive a goody bag with T-shirt (5k) or bandanna (1mi), various goodies, and finish-line refreshments. T-shirt and bandanna quantities are limited. All participants registered by March 31 guaranteed a race T-shirt (5K or Catnap) or doggie bandanna (1mi). After March 31, T-shirts and doggie bandannas are first registered, first served.
• Free dog park pass included with purchase of 5k and/or 1mi dog walk registration.

Entry Fee:

• $35 per runner/walker/catnapper by February 15, 2023 (and catnappers through Race Day)
• $40 per runner/walker by March 15, 2023 
• $45 per runner/walker from March 16, 2023 through Race Day
• Half-Off the 5K for children 12 and under!
• $2 surcharge for XXL T-shirt (5K & Catnap)
• $15 for extra T-shirts. NOTE: Extra T-shirts can only be purchased in conjunction with a 5K/Dog Walker/Catnapper registration and not as a standalone purchase.
• $10 for extra bandannas. NOTE: Extra bandannas can only be purchased in conjunction with a Dog Walker registration and not as a standalone purchase
• Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and entries are NON-TRANSFERABLE. Sorry, no exceptions. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. You may not give or sell your number to anyone else. The event will be held rain or shine.

Early Packet Pick Up:

• Thursday, April 20th, 11 am – 6 pm @ Luke’s Locker 5255 Monahans Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76109
• Friday, April 21st, 9 am – 2 pm @ DF2FM office/warehouse 5825 E. Rosedale, Fort Worth, TX, 76112

NOTE: Packets for registrations made after 6:00 PM on Monday, April 17th will need to be picked up on race day at the race site starting at 7:30 AM
